Questions

Honest answers. No filler.

What Oxora is, how MEM-Activated Water works, what to expect, and how to choose your Oxora starting point — said plainly, the way we’d explain it to a friend.

Most asked

Where did Oxora come from?

Oxora began with a question, not a product. For generations, people noticed that some waters have been associated with skin feeling calmer and softer. The usual explanation focused on minerals. We asked whether there might be another layer — the physical state of the water itself — and that question led us to MEM-Activated Water™.

How is this different from normal skincare?

Most skincare works downstream — responding to visible concerns after they appear. Oxora starts earlier, with the skin micro-environment: oxygen, pH, hydration and the skin-surface microbiome. Instead of relying on pharmaceutical active ingredients, Oxora is designed to tune the conditions skin works within, helping it function in a more balanced, harmonious setting.

How can water do anything for my skin?

Because it is not ordinary water. MEM-Activated Water™ is water physically transformed through oxygen nanobubble technology. These sub-200nm oxygen nanobubbles are designed to help oxygen remain available in the skin layer, while the fluid’s improved wetting helps it spread across the skin’s natural micro-contours. Together with a slightly acidic pH of 5.6–5.8, MEM-Activated Water™ supports a more balanced skin-surface environment — including the conditions in which the skin’s microbiome ecology naturally exists.

When will I see results?

Some users notice sensory comfort very quickly, sometimes from the first day — skin feeling calmer, less reactive or less tight. For others, Oxora works more gradually. Many first notice improved hydration and comfort over 1–2 weeks. With consistent use, visible concerns may look more settled around 4–8 weeks. Over time, the goal is a steadier daily baseline. Individual experiences vary.

Philosophy

Micro-Environment Modulation, or MEM, is Oxora’s way of caring for the conditions skin works within every day: oxygen availability, hydration, a slightly acidic pH and the skin-surface microbiome. These conditions help shape how calm, comfortable and balanced skin feels.

Instead of relying on pharmaceutical active ingredients to target visible concerns, Oxora supports the skin micro-environment so skin has a better setting to function in.

No. Oxora does not make healing claims about hot springs, mineral springs or traditional bathing waters. Our starting point was nanobubble science and the question of whether water could be engineered to support the skin micro-environment.

Special-water traditions in Japan, Ancient Greece and Rome later gave cultural context to the idea: people have long noticed that some waters feel different on skin. Oxora brings that intuition into a modern, measured skincare format through MEM-Activated Water™.

No. Oxora is a cosmetic skincare product, not a medicine. It does not claim to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Its role is to support the skin micro-environment as part of daily skincare.

If you are using prescribed treatment, please follow your healthcare professional’s guidance when introducing Oxora. It is not intended to replace prescribed treatment or medical advice.

Because for reactive or easily unsettled skin, more ingredients are not always the answer. Active ingredients can be useful and powerful, but they often work by pushing the skin in a specific direction.

Oxora takes a different approach. Instead of adding pharmaceutical active ingredients, we focus on enablement: supporting the conditions skin works within — oxygen, hydration, pH and the skin-surface microbiome — so skin has a better setting to function in.

Think of it like a plant. Sometimes it does not need stronger fertiliser. It needs better soil.

Oxora is designed for problem-prone skin — if your skin feels dry, uncomfortable, reactive or breakout-prone, Oxora is designed to support the skin surface micro-environment.

However, individual results vary by condition severity, skin type, and existing treatment regimen. We always recommend honest timelines: sensory changes within 1–2 weeks, visible stability at 4–8 weeks, structural resilience at 8–12+ weeks.

Product

MEM stands for Micro-Environment Modulation. MEM-Activated Water™ is water engineered with oxygen nanobubble technology: sub-200nm oxygen nanobubbles, stabilised by negative zeta potential and formulated at a slightly acidic pH of 5.6–5.8.

Unlike ordinary oxygenated water, which can lose dissolved oxygen quickly, nanobubble technology is designed to help oxygen remain available for longer within the skin-surface micro-environment — the living interface where hydration, pH, sebum, sweat and microbiome ecology interact.

Together with improved wetting and skin-compatible pH, MEM-Activated Water™ supports the conditions skin works within every day.

All three are Skin Base Fluid formulas built on the same MEM-Activated Water™ core. The difference is in the skin need each one is tuned for.

Oxora Acne-prone: For acne-prone or blemish-prone skin. Designed to support a more balanced skin-surface environment and a clearer-looking complexion, without stripping.

Oxora Eczema-prone: For eczema-prone, dry or reactive skin. Designed to support comfort, hydration and a calmer-feeling daily baseline.

Oxora Eczema-prone Plus: For very dry, persistently reactive, eczema-prone skin that needs more intensive support. Built on the same MEM-Activated Water™ core as Oxora Eczema-prone, with an adapted formula designed to support comfort, hydration and a steadier-feeling daily baseline.

We believe in being clear about what is — and is not — in our formulas. Each Oxora Skin Base Fluid is formulated without fragrance, ethanol, steroids, antibiotics, occlusive ingredients or pharmaceutical active ingredients.

The full INCI ingredient list for each formula will be published on its product page at launch.

Oxora Skin Base Fluid is a water-light hydrogel serum designed as a base layer for the skin micro-environment.

It is not a conventional moisturiser, because it is non-occlusive and does not rely on a heavy film to seal the skin. It is not a medical treatment, because it contains no pharmaceutical active ingredients and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.

Think of it as the first supportive layer in your routine: designed to help skin feel more comfortable, hydrated and balanced before moisturisers, emollients or other skincare products.

It can also be used on its own when your skin prefers a simpler routine.

Lightweight. Water-light. Non-sticky.

Oxora absorbs cleanly within 1–2 minutes, without a sticky or greasy feel. Many users describe it as “like putting on nothing — except a silky-smooth sensation.”

That is intentional. Oxora is designed to support the skin micro-environment, not form a heavy layer over it.

Usage & Expectations

Four simple steps:

1. Cleanse gently 2. Apply Skin Base Fluid to slightly damp skin 3. Allow to absorb for 1–2 minutes 4. Continue with your usual routine — or keep it simple

Oxora is designed as a supportive base layer. Use it on its own when your skin prefers a simpler routine, or before moisturisers, emollients and other skincare products.

Use morning and evening for steady daily support.

We believe in honest timelines.

Day 1 onward: Some users notice sensory comfort very quickly — skin feeling calmer, less reactive or less tight. Week 1–2: Skin may feel more hydrated, more comfortable and less reactive. Some users also report early visible changes, such as skin looking calmer, less red or more settled. Week 3–4: Early observations may become more consistent. Skin may feel easier to manage, and visible concerns may continue to look calmer with regular use. Week 6–8: With consistent use, the daily baseline may feel steadier, and the skin surface may appear more balanced and comfortable. Week 8–12+: Over time, the goal is a more resilient-feeling baseline — skin that feels better supported through everyday stressors.

Individual experiences vary depending on your skin, its current state and how consistently Oxora is used. Oxora is designed for steady daily support, not overnight correction.

Yes. Skin Base Fluid is designed to work as a base layer in your skincare routine. Apply it first to slightly damp skin, allow it to absorb, then continue with your usual products if desired.

Some users may find that, as their skin feels more supported and their baseline feels steadier, they prefer a simpler routine over time. For reactive or problem-prone skin, fewer layers can sometimes feel easier to live with.

If you use prescription treatments or strong actives, follow their individual application directions when adding Oxora to your routine.

Oxora Skin Base Fluid contains no pharmaceutical active ingredients and is designed to layer within skincare routines, including treatment-led routines where appropriate.

If you are using prescribed treatment for a skin condition, follow your healthcare professional’s instructions when adding any new product. Where layering is permitted, apply Skin Base Fluid as a base layer, allow it to absorb fully, then continue as directed.

Oxora is not intended to replace prescribed treatment or medical advice.

With twice-daily use, morning and evening, most Oxora Skin Base Fluid bottles typically last around 4 weeks. Actual usage may vary by formula, application area and how generously you apply it.

Yes. Oxora is not only about labels like acne or eczema. It is designed to support the skin micro-environment — the conditions that help skin feel calmer, more hydrated, more balanced and more comfortable.

Today, AP is tuned for blemish-prone, congestion-prone or oily/combination skin. EP is tuned for dry, reactive or eczema-prone skin. EP Plus is tuned for very dry, persistently reactive skin that needs more intensive support.

You can choose your starting point based on how your skin behaves today, not only on what you call the concern. Over time, Oxora will expand with additional formulas that adapt the same MEM-Activated Water™ core to different skin needs.

Oxora is a cosmetic skincare product and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Avoid applying it to open wounds, mucosal areas or areas showing signs of infection.

Skin Conditions

Oxora Eczema-prone is designed for eczema-prone skin, especially when skin feels dry, tight, reactive or uncomfortable day to day.

Oxora Eczema-prone focuses on supporting comfort, hydration and a calmer-feeling daily baseline for skin that can feel unsettled with heat, stress, weather changes or no obvious reason at all.

If your skin is very dry, persistently reactive or needs more intensive support — when calmer days are fewer, discomfort feels more frequent or your usual routine no longer feels enough — Oxora Eczema-prone Plus may be the better starting point. It is built on the same MEM-Activated Water™ core as Eczema-prone, with an adapted formula for skin that needs more support.

Oxora is a cosmetic skincare product and is not intended to replace prescribed eczema treatment or medical advice. If you are using prescribed treatment, follow your healthcare professional’s guidance when adding Oxora to your routine.

Yes — we’d point you to Oxora Eczema-prone.

Skin that flushes easily and reacts to heat, stress, food, or products is often working with a sensitive barrier and an unsettled surface. EP was designed for reactive, easily-irritated skin — offering calming hydration without the occlusive film that can trap heat and irritation.

The minimalist formula is designed for sensitive, reactive-feeling skin that may not tolerate active ingredients and heavy formulations.

Yes — we’d suggest Oxora Eczema-prone.

Flaky, reactive skin that feels uncomfortable can be a sign the skin surface is out of balance. Oxora’s approach — particularly pH alignment and skin surface balance — is designed to support the skin surface micro-environment for calmer, more comfortable skin.

If you have a diagnosed condition, Oxora is designed to sit alongside — not replace — your prescribed treatment. The skin micro-environment still plays a role in barrier function and how comfortable skin feels day to day.

We’d suggest Oxora Eczema-prone as a supportive daily-use product (or EP Plus if your skin needs more support). It won’t replace medical treatment, but it may help support the skin environment alongside your existing regimen.

Always follow your dermatologist’s advice.

Yes. Oxora is a cosmetic skincare product, not a medication. You do not need a formal diagnosis to use it.

If your skin often feels dry, tight, sensitive, reactive, blemish-prone or easily unsettled, Oxora may be a suitable starting point. Its role is to support the skin micro-environment — the conditions skin works within every day — whether or not you have a diagnosed skin condition.

If symptoms are persistent, worsening, painful, infected-looking or affecting your daily life, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
